Full Specialist Program in Kissimmee: Why Choose Between Skin and Nails?
What is a Full Specialist?
In Florida, a Full Specialist is registered to perform both skin care and nail services. ACT's Full Specialist program is 600 hours and combines skin and nail training, leading to Florida State Registration in both.
Think of it as a two-for-one. Instead of finishing one program and enrolling in another later, you graduate ready to offer both services.
Why two skills beat one
More services, more income. A client who comes in for a facial might book a manicure too. Offering both means you keep that client, and that money, with you.
More places to work. Spas, nail salons, full-service salons, and resorts all need people who can do both.
Two growing fields. Jobs for skincare specialists and for manicurists and pedicurists are each projected to grow 9% from 2025 to 2035, triple the average for all jobs (BLS skincare, BLS nails).
What you'll learn
Skin: skin analysis, facials, masks, exfoliation, waxing, makeup, and product recommendations.
Nails: manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, nail art, and nail shaping.
Both: sanitation, Florida laws and rules, and how to build a loyal clientele.
