Barber Instructor

About the Role
You teach barbering theory and supervise students on the clinic floor, preparing them for the Florida licensure exam and for real work behind the chair. Our Barber Stylist program runs 900 hours.
What you'll do
Deliver theory instruction following the approved program curriculum
Supervise students performing services on clients on the clinic floor
Demonstrate cutting, shaving, fading, styling, and sanitation technique
Evaluate practical work and keep accurate records of hours, attendance, and progress
Prepare students for the Florida state board examination
Enforce sanitation, safety, and professional conduct standards

What we're looking for:
Active Florida barbering license in good standing — and any instructor credential Florida requires to teach in a licensed school

About the Role
You teach nail technology theory and supervise students on the salon floor, preparing them for the Florida licensure exam and for work in a salon.
What you'll do
Deliver theory instruction following the approved program curriculum
Supervise students performing services on clients on the salon floor
Demonstrate manicuring, pedicuring, nail art, and tip, wrap, acrylic, gel, and dip application and removal
Teach nail structure, disorders, and the contraindications that mean a client must be referred to a physician
Evaluate practical work and keep accurate records of hours, attendance, and progress
Prepare students for the Florida state board examination
Enforce sanitation, chemical safety, ventilation, and professional conduct standards

About the Role
You teach esthetics theory and supervise students in the treatment area, preparing them for Florida licensure and for work in a salon or spa. Our Skin Care program runs 220 hours.
What you'll do
Deliver theory instruction following the approved program curriculum
Supervise students performing services on clients in the treatment area
Demonstrate skin analysis, facials, extractions, masks, hair removal, and sanitation technique
Teach skin anatomy and disorders, and the contraindications that mean a client must be referred to a physician
Evaluate practical work and keep accurate records of hours, attendance, and progress
Prepare students for the Florida state board examination
Enforce sanitation, product safety, and professional conduct standards, and keep services within the scope of a Florida Facial Specialist license

About the Role

About the Role
You teach massage theory and supervise students in the clinic, preparing them for Florida licensure and for work in a spa, clinic, or private practice. Our Massage Therapy program runs 600 hours. This role also contributes to building the curriculum itself — lesson sequencing, practical assessments, and course materials — so it suits someone who wants a say in how the program is taught, not only in delivering it.
What you'll do
Help design and develop the program curriculum, including lesson plans, practical assessments, and course materials
Review and update curriculum content so it stays current with Florida requirements and industry practice
Deliver theory instruction following the approved program curriculum
Supervise students performing massage on clients in the student clinic
Demonstrate Swedish, deep tissue, and allied modality technique
Teach anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology, including the conditions that contraindicate massage
Instruct on draping, consent, professional boundaries, and therapist and client safety
Teach Florida massage law and rules, ethics, and documentation
Evaluate practical work and keep accurate records of hours, attendance, and progress
Prepare students for the MBLEx and Florida licensure

School Director

About the Role
The School Director runs day-to-day operations across academics, instruction, and student services. You are accountable for student outcomes — attendance, progress, completion, and licensure pass rates — and for keeping the school in good standing with its regulators and accreditor.
What you'll do
Lead daily school operations across all programs and both day and evening sessions
Supervise, schedule, and develop instructional staff
Own student outcomes: attendance, satisfactory academic progress, completion, and licensure exam results
Maintain compliance with Florida Commission for Independent Education requirements, accreditation standards, and applicable federal regulations
Oversee accurate student records, enrollment agreements, and academic documentation
Partner with admissions and financial aid so students enroll, progress, and complete on schedule
Handle student concerns, conduct issues, leaves of absence, and withdrawals
Prepare for and support regulatory visits, audits, and reporting
Work with leadership on enrollment targets, staffing, and program development
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 5 years of experience in postsecondary or career school administration, or comparable leadership experience in education
Working knowledge of career school regulation and accreditation

Administrative Assistant

About the Role
You are the first person prospective students meet and the person who keeps the front desk running. This role mixes reception, scheduling, and data entry with light admissions support. It suits someone organised who likes people and does not mind a phone that rings.
What you'll do
Greet students, prospective students, and salon clients, in person and by phone
Confirm next-day appointments for financial aid meetings and salon bookings
Enter and maintain student and lead records accurately in our school systems
Follow up with prospective students who have started an application or scheduled a tour
Support the admissions team with scheduling, paperwork, and document collection
Keep the front desk area organised and presentable
Handle general administrative tasks for the school director as needed
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in reception, customer service, sales, or office administration
Comfortable with data entry and learning new software
Clear, friendly communication in English; Spanish is a strong plus given our student population

Fractional Financial Aid Director

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Title IV administrator to own financial aid for a small clock-hour cosmetology school on a fractional basis.
Our accreditation is with NACCAS and we're licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education.
What you'll do
Administer Title IV aid end to end — packaging, awarding, disbursement, and reconciliation
Process ISIRs, complete verification, and resolve C-codes and conflicting information
Submit Pell and Direct Loan originations and disbursements through COD, and keep them reconciled
Prepare and submit reimbursement requests under Heightened Cash Monitoring, with the supporting documentation each one needs
Perform Return of Title IV Funds calculations within required timeframes and process resulting refunds
Monitor and clear student credit balances within the required window
Reconcile Title IV disbursements to individual student records in our system of record
Keep NSLDS enrollment reporting accurate and current
Prepare FISAP and support IPEDS financial aid reporting
Maintain the policies and procedures manual and keep student files audit-ready
Support the annual compliance audit, the change-of-ownership review, and any program review
Advise the CEO and leadership on regulatory risk and what it means operationally
What we're looking for
3+ years administering Title IV aid at a proprietary or clock-hour institution
Direct experience with Heightened Cash Monitoring, or comparable reimbursement-based disbursement
Working knowledge of 34 CFR Part 668, R2T4, and satisfactory academic progress in a clock-hour context
Practical command of COD, G5, NSLDS, and FAA Access
Comfortable being the single point of accountability rather than part of a larger aid office
Able to work independently with limited supervision and report clearly to leadership
Nice to have
Experience at a NACCAS-accredited institution
Prior change-of-ownership or recertification experience
Familiarity with Boston Ed / E-Masters
Florida CIE licensing experience
